Garuda, the 140th Anniversary of the Land Treasures, Thailand Post
On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Thailand Post, which has long fulfilled its duty of fostering relationships with the Thai people, reservations are now open for 16 items of the “Treasure of the Land, 140 Years of Thailand Post” Garuda amulets. A consecration ceremony and gold pouring ceremony were held on August 13, 2023. Mr. Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, presided over the consecration ceremony and gold pouring ceremony for the “Treasure of the Land, 140 Years of Thailand Post” Garuda amulets to continue the artistic legend of the first chapter, “Garuda Subduing the Curved Trench,” the symbol of the Post and Telegraph Department. Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamangkhun Muni, also known as Chao Khun Thongchai, the Grand Abbot of the Central Region, a member of the Supreme Patriarch Council, and Assistant Abbot of Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan, presided over the monastic ceremony at the Central Post Office, Bang Rak, Bangkok. The consecration ceremony for the “Treasure of the Land, 140 Years of Thailand Post” Garuda amulets is organized by Wat Kruttharam in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Consisting of the Garuda statue, made of gold (weight 3 baht), silver, Mahachonuan, satin white gold, satin copper, sacred objects that are remembered.
It is valuable and full of power and authority. It is a great power. It brings good fortune and protects against all kinds of dangers. It is the legend of the Garuda that brings wealth.
